Missed deer season this past year due to work, but did bag a fall bear. Over baits on public land, from a ground blind at 90 yards, Winchester Model 70 in .30-06, 165gr SSTs. The bear took off at the shot but didn't even cover 15 yards before piling up. Made tacos with pulled bear shoulder the other day, they're a great eating animal.

Sako 85 Finnlite in 300win mag. Called a moose out and put one in top of neck with 180g ttsx. 50yards. Needless to say, it didnt go one step :)

8 point Whitetail with CVA Wolf muzzleloader at around 60 yds. with a 303 grain Remington sabot. Shoulder shot, ran 25 yds. dropped like a stone.

A few problem bears at the lodge with my Marlin 336 in 35 rem with 200gr rem corelocs.
Furthest went maybe 15 yards. Good bear medicine!!

4 x4 mulie taken @ 601 measured yards with my Ruger .300 Win Mag pushing a 180gr Nosler Partition at 3000fps.
Bullet took the buck at a quartering away angle and he folded right there.
Then things went sideways as during the gutting and loading process I managed to loose my wallet. Couldn't get back to the spot for a couple of days and it snowed about 3 inches. Found it by dragging a stick around where I had been working on the deer. I had $400.00 and a lotto max ticket in there so I was a little panicked!

Last animal was a white tail buck, on last day of the season with 375 Ruger M-77 Hawkeye , sierra 250 gr sp, RL 15 powder, 77 grains, Av-2827
Last day cold windy , I was going to stay home, but friend convinced me to go with him, we were driving around, looking for deer, maybe seen a couple not big enough , he decided we should go check out another spot , so we were driving along a trail came up a little hill and there he was 80 yds away, a couple does farther off about 110 yds away, we both noticed the deer at same time , as he stopped , I jumped out loaded one shell into the gun and raised up on toward the deer, he was already starting to move way, i shot him in the neck, and he dropped right there , turned out to be a good day after all,

2pt mule buck
Savage 243win
100g partition over H4350 @ 3025fps

40yds in the lungs didn’t even hit a rib bone

Went about 15yds

My 3yr old son got to watch the whole thing play out and helped with all the work after.

A memory for a lifetime
