A vast array of small mammal skeletons, strewn around a coyote's den.

My friend found - a year later and with the help of a cheapo metal detector -the Leupold scope he lost in a bog, during the moose-hunt.

Lost my keys to my truck during the 2002 moose hunt, had to get a buddy to drive me two hours out of the bush to go get my spare set.

2003 my buddy found my keys in a puddle while out on a stalk for moose in the same area.

Had a buddy find a 7mm that must have come out of a scabbard on a hunt, tried like hell to find the owner but ended up keeping it. I have come across locked antlers from moose - found a real nice Buck knife just a little while ago, found a half buried hare last week - killed minutes before by a bobcat, nowhere to be seen, Chinese mining cabins in the middle of nowhere almost lost to nature and time and unless you were really looking hard, you could miss them easily, abandoned minesites, etc etc

I found a stone knife blade on the shore of the Mattaggami River in the mid-60's . An archaeologist said it was about 7,000 years old . Quite a few spear points and arrowheads .

Sheds, a small area 20 x 20 with every tree in it scratched up far past what I could reach while stand on the seat of my quad> (no naps that day;) )

Years ago, a friend of mine found a body while out rabbit hunting. Turns out it was a young abducted girl. (He was shook up for a while)

A Large set of logging tongs as New sitting under a spruce tree that were used with horses. The area was logged 75 years ago. DAN>>>
Buddy found a old enfield in the middle of no where, leaning up against a tree. All rusted.:)

My best finds have been a nice lockblade, maglight and a ruger 10/22 mag(loaded).

My bro-inlaw was on a fishing trip and found a human ear on a log.He looked on the other side of the log and found a body(no head) and a shotgun.Cops found a suicide note in the guys pocket.

a kitty cat.

I was about 150 km's from the nearest populated area (including logging camps). Sitting in a tree stand calling moose and a black and white kitty came strolling by. It was white with black patches, not a black cat with a white stripe down it's back. Looked fit (not over or under weight).

I found a grow opp a few years back, already harvested, just on crown land.
I found a small grow op when I was about 16 or so... I harvested it (way too early and it was a waste) I wasn't hunting but my father was there the fall before and mentioned seeing lchicken wire and clear plastic sheets, my buddy and I returned in the summer.
I have found lots of small harvested plantations since.
Lots of old cars, most PEI woods were at one time farmland or near farmland, there are thousands of old dumpsites which are full of bottles and car parts.
Found a pair of binos in NB that I lost the day before.
A buddy's father was scouting an old battle site near my home anf found an 18th century french sword in a scabbard under a fallen tree. the handle and scabbard was rotten bu the blade apparently had a mirror finish.

my buddy and i stopped to eat a sandwich on a day hunt. were sitting talking when he let out a yell. a starving husky pup snuck up and put her nose in his hand. scared the s**t out of him. we were miles from anywhere and i guess the dog got loose and was lost. she was so skinny you could see here ribs. i had a dog of my own so i heard threw a friend of a family with a mentally handycapped boy. they came to see the dog, the young ladd would't leave without max. he named her on the spot. many years later there still best of pals.

I wasn't hunting at the time, but I found a 303 jungle carbine under the bed in an old air force cabin at Cape Scott when I hiked up there as a teenager.

I carried it around while I was there and put it back when I left in case a shipwrecked fisherman came ashore there and needed it.

Found a grow op, matched set of moose sheds, not much else of note except a nice pocket tripod in the middle of the Indian Arm road once.
