What is the best weapon to use for bear defense?

A Bradley armoured infantry personnel carrier with a 20mm chain gun, an Apache attack helicopter with a gatling gun, or a Warthog using it's 30mm tank buster with depleted uranium bullets?

I was going to say something witty about using the search forum then I read your question and saw it was legit.

First off I like your choices. For myself the Warthog is out of the question as my budget will not allow for the depleted uranium. The armoured carrier is nice but the mobility of the Apache would make it my choice.
 
take the helicopter, that way you can be sure the bear cant get at you just in case. unless its one of those flying bears....then your screwed
 
as far as I know the AH-64 has never come with a 7.62 gun, although the OH-6 does/did. I think a helicopter would be a purely offensive weapon as far as Ursus is concerned, they can't fly or jump high enough to be any threat ;)
 
I'd prefer to carry an M-16 with an M203 grenade launcher attached to it for dual purpose hunting/bear defense rather than a dedicated 20mm chain gun. thats just overkill for most hunting applications IMHO, and hunting is why were out there in the first place right. keep on keepin' on!
 
Since the choices are so realistic, I think I'd opt for none of the above and take the USS Enterprice...the space ship one...not that useless airplane boat thingy...we all know bears can swim.
 
Given the choices I voted A-10 Warthog, but I still say the Hellfire rocket launcher makes a DANG good backup weapon!

...At least, since I stopped carrying my trusty rubber band and paper clip...:dancingbanana:
