What weaver bases do I need?

Just ordered a Savage 10 Precision Carbine and need to know what weaver bases to get. The mount chart has two listings for the "Model 10". Walked into the local gun store and the guy behind the counter didn't know either. Figure I'd ask here.


10, 12 & 16 (Short Actions). Striker Pstl, 510, 512, 516 S/ A, 10 ML (2-piece ONLY) Pre 2003 Models
61 (48061) & 46 (48046)

OR

10, 12, 110, 112 series, w/ AccuTrigger, Stevens 200
46 (48046) & 46 (48046)

If they have them, take a look at the Burris XTB steel bases. Very well made and shouldn't be much more then the alloy generic weavers.

Thank you! The local store only stocks Weaver bases. If I could find a place in BC to order Burris XTB then I probably would since my scope is going to take a week longer getting here now.
