Yes, LB primarily was in the business of refurbing rifles during those years, though they did essentially make new rifles in that timeframe on left over 1945 dated receivers which were used during the rebuild program whenever a rifle in for repair had a receiver that no longer gauged within tolerances. This is why you sometimes see what looks like a perfect 1945 LB but with primarily early-war parts.
They also assembled some CNo.7 .22 rifles.
