Hey fellas,

What sort of red dot should I grab for my SKS?
What do you guys recommend, and who on the board do you recommend I grab it from? I am not made of gold........50-60$ limit would be nice I think,

Any one?
Thanks!

Theres the Bushnell trophy 30mm red dot. It uses weaver rings so you need the base for that, not the greatest optic but i$70. That being said if possible I'd get a Vortex Strikefire, there a lot more expensive but its a much higher quality optic.

I have a Tasco red dot on my wingmaster, it fogs up easily, battery life isn't the greatest and neither is the dot but its held its zero. But if I'd get another red dot I'd definitely save for something of higher quality.

I put a CMORE on mine. It's worth more than the rifle LOL. But that is not a bad thing.

Pic for your enjoyment. Hope this works.

not sure the cheapies are meant to take the recoil of the round, more designed for 22's, just a thought

I put one on my sks that came with my walther night hawk pellet gun. It was great the brightness settings helped. I can't find a name on it sorry. But any one for a pellet gun will work great for the sks they're not tack drivers anyway.

... don't do this get one rated for centrefire recoil so you don't waste your time and money on nothing. spend a couple extra bucks and get one that lasts or just use the irons and buy more ammo.
