What would a new in box Colt MT6700 be worth?

But I'm wondering if anyone's acquired one lately, or knows of any for sale in Canada, and thus knows what a realistic value is.

Don't think the 20" target model is quite as popular as the LE6920, but then again, from what I've seen, the MT6700 isn't easy to get either

Check I RUN GUNS (IRG) they don't have them in stock in their Canadian store but do advertise them for sale on their US site, so they are available to us up here. To get an average on price go to the US site Gunbroker search for Colt competition h-bar. I bought an excellent used pre ban Colt competition H-bar 6700 series several years ago on GGN for aprox. 1500.00 basic same version of the rifle you are asking about but with a flash eliminator. g2.

Not that much. $1500 like gladius 2 said. No one wants them because they don't have a flash hider on the or a bayonet lug. Not that you need that stuff. It's just most people want the same features as it's big brother. Everyone wants a clone.

Also, Colt is supposed to be coming out with and AR15a4 in the near future (when... who knows?!?) which is much closer to the real thing in terms of features - especially with respect to the barrel profile (non h-bar).

It probably won't be till fall of this year or spring 2014. Colt is still working on building 60,000 6920 right now. Plus you have to under stand Colt's mentality. All those rifles in the Legacy line are just proposed models. Colt won't build them unless someone orders them. Minimum order is usually 400-500 rifles.

yeah, barrel looks a little odd; there's a 6700C, for Compensator, that looks more, well, authentic.
