recommendations need and ideally looking for a bag that i can use for shells, vests, glasses, ear muffs etc etc etc

There are so many bags out there that would meet your needs. I happen to have a Browning bag purchased off the Browning website....given to me as a Xmas present. I wouldn't necessarily have bought it myself.

But it holds all my stuff nicely enough....ammo, glasses, muffs, shooting pouch, gloves. Could probably stuff a vest in too if I used one.

But I'm not one to worry too much if a bag to carry shells around at the range happens to have a Browning "Buckmark" logo on it....or a Bob Allen logo...or any other logo from some gun company.

Hell...one of the best skeet shooters in the country carries his stuff around in one of those big plastic milk crates. :) Does the job for him.

Browse the Cabela site...there's oodles of different bags there....for alot less money BECAUSE it doesn't have the Browning logo on it. And many of them will certainly meet your needs.

If the brand name and logo is important to you....browse each manufacturer's website...Bob Allen, Browning, Beretta etc etc.

Good luck and have fun shopping.

I bought my wife a "range bag" from Sears.

It's nothing more than a suitably sized "carry on" shoulder bag...with a couple of side pouches for misc stuff.

Works perfectly well....didn't cost much at all. Happened to be on sale in fact when I got it.

Just a thought. "shrug"

Wild Hare makes a nice one they call their Deluxe Tournament Bag.
X2. That's what I'm using. Plenty of room for shells, choke tubes, etc. I also have an older Boyt Sporting Clays bag that was a shoot prize. It didn't stand up as well as the Wild Hare although I still use the Boyt when I shoot my 28 gauge.

For good value I always try and find used camera bags. Lots at used camera stores. Lowe Pro is a popular name brand. FS

X2 on the Camera bags, If you have a shop in your area that specializes in "old school" Photography you can find some really nice leather ones for not much coin.

I really want a bag when shooting Sporting Clays. You have to carry all your stuff around some pretty interesting walks. It probably isn't that big a question for skeet or trap, except it is nice to have all your stuff in one place so you don't forget things. I bought a Browning bag in Vancouver last year and it is OK, maybe a little small when I shove my vest in it. Lately I've been thinking that I might build or buy a cart of some kind for clays (golf cart?). I see them around and they look like a good deal at first blush.

Try Kunys at home depot.
Lots of side pockets, heavy duty construction.
Well Priced

That's a good idea. Lots to choose from too. You could also try Totem Building Centers. Every once in a while they go on sale.
I bought a Dewalt bag last year, heavy duty, good size, lots of pockets, handles plus shoulder strap, would've worked great for a shooting bag.

I use a black nylon `toolbox`from a surplus store. It just holds my handgun case, targets, tools, markers, stapler ear muffs, eye glasses. My ammo goes into an ammo can.
