What would you choose .243 or 6mm

I couldn't

6mm BR is a great workhorse precision cartridge capable of great things on its own, with almost nothing in the way of (lapua) case prep. There are numerous 1000 yard records that are held with the plain old 6BR. I take nothing away from the 6 and 6.5mm wildcats that can give you an added edge, but I love shooting more than I like loading and you can get incredible results without having to spend long hours forming, resizing and trimming brass.
have said it any better. I guess that is why my main irons are 6BR and 30-06 I kind of borrowed Dad's .243 Win for when the snow gets deeper and the 12.5 lb 6BR is a little heavy to carry around. Those are the only 3 that I really reload for.

I own a 6br and a 6mm Remington and If I could only pick one it would be the br. I have both guns set up the same (varmint/coyote rigs) and the little 6br spits out the 75 grain Vmax @3350 FPS! with absolutly great accuracy.
