About 1 month ago I put a trail-cam on our property, 3-4 days ago a whitetail buck has started to show his face. My camera has not been taking good pictures of him but I counted at least 4 points on the one side there could be 5 but I am not sure. I switched it over to video today hoping I would be able to get a better look at him. I have pictures of him around 3am,7am,10:30am and 3:30 pm all on different days. He always shows up the same day does have been down there but not at the same time. I went down today at 3 and tried to rattle him in.. is it to late in the season for that? When I could tell it was going to get dark soon I walked around the area slowly but obviously did not see him.

Besides camping down there for the last 5 days of the season, should I just hang around the camera early morning and before sun set or try walk through the thick bush in the surrounding area?

I have a feeling he might get to live another year V:I:

I'll grab the pictures off the camera tomorrow.

I would sit and wait it out. You know he's been showing up in daylight, which is more than haf the battle, so it's just a matter of time. If you go tromping through the bush chances are you'll spook him without getting a shot, and you'll probably never see him again this year, at least not in daylight.
