whats a crate of 303 worth and 9mm markov?

A guy who i shoot with has a crate of 303 british it is 1975 dated it is in bandaliers i think they were 50 rnds per not sure how many in the crate its a wooden crate imported by CIA montreal

he also has 9mm makarov also from CIA montreal its steel case non reloadable 16 rnds per box

has probably 50 boxes

can someone tell me whats this stuff worth Its going to be sold from and estate and we need the value of it

I'd give him 50$ for all the makarov loads..they cost about 150$ per 1000 rnd case when you can find em.Thats HP with brass cases though

I do not know what it is worth, but i would pay 15 a box of 50 for the .303.

A lot of that ammo is just barely ok for plinking, but hopelessly innaccurate for any serious work. I remember spending hours trying to sight in my dad's sporterized .303 with these old rounds. Only to find it wasn't the scope or gun, but the ammo! Shot a few from a box of standard hunting ammo, and voila! Bulleyes! The military stuff scattered all over the place...a few to the left and down...a few to the right and up! etc. Real garbage!

For Makarov, Epps is/was selling new S&B for $15 box of 50 and they also have new Fiocchi for $20/50. Both are brass cased and boxer primed.
