What's a deceant price for a pre '64 M70 in .375 H&H?

Condition and alterations are the deciding factors.

I would think the action (in good cond) alone would be worth around $6oo-7oo. It goes up from there.

I want second dibs if you don't buy it. :)

.

If its not too monkeyed with its worth at least double that and probably tripple if it all original. Hope he's not reading this.

If its all original and no stock alterations and in excellent condition it is worth $12-1500, more if its a supergrade.

A "decent" price if you are buying is anything under $1000 if its in very good or better condition.

I'll buy all you can find for under $1000.:)
In fact if you can find an original in good shape I'll pay $1500.

Well then to join in on and jack this thread a little.

Dealing with an estate I've com across a pre-'64 (looked it up it's made in '62)
Win 70 in .338 Mag....metal condition is 95%, all original, stock has some bad side wear from carrying.

Thanks
