What's a Good Powder for .45ACP

Just thought I'd pick a few brains. I have Unique powder already but I'd like to know if there's a particular powder that works well for shooting .45ACP target loads with 230 grain jacketed roundnose bullets. I have a Norc 1911A1 and a S&W 645 to feed. I'm looking for decent accuracy first and clean burning second.

If I notice that one powder stands out as recommended, I'll pick some up.

i hear lots of good things about the powders he mentioned....

i load 9mm only right now and i use Hodgdon Titegroup and find it to be very versatile however its not the cleanest burning powder out there....

I use w231 with the 230 gr jrn bullets but I also have tried N320 with great results

Hp-38 is good power i use it for my 40 and 45

This is what I use but I get the best accuracy with 5.7g and meeting PF.

I have used up a pound of it so I think I am going to try WST next just because I enjoy the experimentation aspect of reloading. After I have tried four I will probably decide on one.

i have had good luck with bullseye! and its cleaner than 231!

Universal is good. 231 is good. X700 is good. Or the magic-does-all-except-Magnum-H110-Loads powder... Titegroup.

I am loading 4 grains of bullsey under 230 hand cast. Have not shot them, but will post results soon as I do
