That my Remington 700 300 Win mag really likes the 200 grain Nosler Accubonds.
I loaded 10 rounds,6 of them went under the magic inch. These loads were the first out of this rifle with H4350.
The others were bounced off some rocks down at the end of the range at 200 yards.
The 180 Nosler ballistic Tips were under an inch too. My rifle likes Noslers...no more cheap dates.

What's a guy to do? Well you could find a cheap load for practicing. You could try this load at 200 and 300 to see if it holds together, sometimes they don't. You could shoot more than a couple groups before coming to conclusions. Or you could do the same as I did with my last .300 that shot 1". I rebarreled it. You have lots of options, it's too early to give up!

Your gun likes 200gr Accubonds so you own an accurate rifle that shoots a premium bullet in an optimum weight-for-caliber capable of taking anything in North America. Now go buy something smaller for deer-size critters, and another in a centerfire .22 for coyote/gophers and you're set.

Fuel to go hunting or to the range 1.30 a litre, and people are concerned about paying a few extra bucks for Noslers?? Makes sense to me....

You found an accurate load with the Noslers, the money you save in fuel by not having to run back to the range to find an accurate load, will easily cover the cost of the Nosler bullets and then some...
