So I have this milled hand guard clip for an M1. It came on a hand guard I bought for my Breda. From what I understand they are found on early US rifles. Anyone know the value of these?
I doubt the mods will mind me posting this as I'm not actually posting a direct link, and the auction has ended. So here's one that sold for $100 USD in the last month and a half. When you incorporate currency conversion into the mix you're looking at around around $125 in Canada if you can find one?
I think you got a good deal on your hand guard set!
I'd hang onto it, you never know if you might decide to get a ww2 garand that needs one, or if a friend decides to get one or restore one. Perhaps someone on here that you like will need one some day and you'll be able to sell it to them knowing that they'll really appreciate it.
Funny about these early/scarce Garand parts. They mostly have value for someone trying to do a restoration of an early rifle. I've got several very early "gas trap" Garand parts sprinkled around various rifles. They are interchangeable with any other Garand part.
