Recently picked up a Russian Izhevsk Mosin nagant m44 in great shape. All matching numbers. And shoots great! Was wondering what these are going for as for sales price? Got off a friend that Owed me money lol. Noticed they have gone up in price over last few years. What is a fair sale price these days? Thanks!

typical blued refurb is anywhere between 400-450 these days depending on condition. If you want the rolls royce of M44's (polish unissued) ones that come up occasionally on the EE, expect to pay upwards of 600+. If you can get a polish, get one. Russians never made a mosin so nice. do what i did and sell your russian to fund a nice plish lady.

I just sold a Russian one which I would say compares to the Polish ones. Most are in not nearly as good shape, however a very nice post-war Soviet M44 is comparable to the Polish ones.

Price wise your likely looking in the 300-400$ area. It took forever to sell the one I had (and as mentioned was mint), and that was sold at 450$ shipped. Things aren't moving at the moment (poor economy, oil doing poorly etc.) and it might take a long time to sell. I know there is plenty which has come up on the EE for a more than fair price recently which if I had the funds they would be mine, however like most people the funds aren't there at the moment.

Immaculate shiny bore, great wood(few Knicks from over the years I'd assume) all matching (non force matched). Fired 20 rounds thru it at the range few weeks ago and it was hitting 6x6 target at 100yard consistently. I enjoy the rifle a lot just don't get out to the range as much as I'd like to so was looking for a fair sales price if was to ever post or trade it.

Pictures would help. Not that I doubt you, but I've heard "non force matched" before re soviet Mosins and usually the person just doesn;t know how to tell as the Soviets were pretty good at scrubbing old markings off. you need to look at the finish of the surrounding metal, whether machining marks are buffed off, and what font was used. If the rifle is 1944 or earlier, it's HIGHLY unlikely it escaped being refurbished post-war.
