I have had an all original parts with # matching bayo 91/30 on the ee & am somewhat surprised no one has even asked about it. Is the $300 price scaring people off or do they not see the difference from a regular refurb?

How are you 100% sure it is a non refurb? I believe bayonets were also numbered to match post war.

A belt sander has never touched this rifle post production & there are machining marks I have never seen on any other. The bayo is war production & has never been renumbered. You really have to see it.

It's worth what you're asking, from the sounds of it. I believe Weimajack was selling them for around that price awhile ago.

So I've already got one, otherwise I might be interested. ;)

I am ashamed to say that I just bought one on the EE for $120, thinking it was refurb but it wasn't, it was all matching inc. bayo just as yours.

Hey desporterizer, you should post some pictures of the workmanship marks and of the butt plate tang and how it sits in the stock and compare that to the refurbs you have as that will allow some reference points.
