I get there are not many of them out there, but I don't get the craze. Have had a few in hand, that were available at that time as well and I didn't see anything to great about em in general, other then that they were cheap in cost.

I have personally owned a few of them but never had any deep need to keep them.
Not being a 1911 fan doesn't help, though.

I've had a crack at 2 of them now & passed. Both for reasonable prices, too.
They look like a great gun for the money & I might pick one up down the road when they are here in numbers. But for the moment I'm just not interested enough to jump.

I could care less. When they are more plentiful maybe I will pick one up. I'm still looking for my first 1911 and I like the fact that it is stainless in the $700-$800 price range. Right now I'm leaning more toward an STI Spartan V as I believe it is still the better buy between the two.
