What's a Ruger SR1911 worth?

I get there are not many of them out there, but I don't get the craze. Have had a few in hand, that were available at that time as well and I didn't see anything to great about em in general, other then that they were cheap in cost.

It's all about the Unobtanium. People always want what they can't have. When they get it and shoot it and show it off, it usually is found on the EE or thrown in the gun locker.

I've had a crack at 2 of them now & passed. Both for reasonable prices, too.

They look like a great gun for the money & I might pick one up down the road when they are here in numbers. But for the moment I'm just not interested enough to jump.

I agree. I'm holding out for one of those Kimber Pro TLE RL2 Stainless Commanders with a rail. I love those. A little more pricey, but its more what I want.

+1. I wanted a Ruger SR1911 badly at one point but now a days
I could care less. When they are more plentiful maybe I will pick one up. I'm still looking for my first 1911 and I like the fact that it is stainless in the $700-$800 price range. Right now I'm leaning more toward an STI Spartan V as I believe it is still the better buy between the two.

Spartan's are another want of mine. Those things are near perfect.
