I just picked up a sight unseen m995 in 300 win with a scope on it. Not sure what the scope is or the condition of the rifle but figured I couldn't loose on a sako. For arguments sake.....until I pick it up.....whats one worth in good condition? Thanks.

What did you pay? That's what it's worth. If you think there is some white meat left on the bone, add a few hundred to the price you paid and post it in the EE. If you bought it to use yourself, and you're happy with the price that you paid, then who cares?

Probably around 1300-1400 in that cartridge, depending on condition. I have one in 338 Lapua. Probably has all of 70 rounds through it. Made a dandy elk rifle though. - dan
For as much help as some of you are .....it’s not much help. I ask because there aren’t many for sale and the one that currently is on the EE is listed at 4500. Not exactly realistic. I thought I might try to make a couple bucks on it but when I picked it up yesterday and finally looked at it turns out is a bit rough. Stock is fine but the blue on the barrel is worn with some light pitting and surface rust. Would it be better to reblue it, cerakote it or just leaving it alone?
