I am looking at a used Anchutz in 22LR. It has a wooden monte carlo stock with checkering. It is a bolt action with clip. It says on the top of the reciever CIL Model 310. Sorry no serial number. Can anyone tell me anything about this rifle? I am looking at buying it but would like a little more info, thanks.

condition

It all depends on condition, but these are great shooters. I sold one last year in very good condition for $350 but I think the price range of $300-$375 is fair. A new Anschutz similar in design will run you in the $700-$800 range for the same quality. Buy it and shoot it, you'll be very pleased.

It looks similar to the Anschutz target rifles we used in Air Cadets. Does anyone know what the Anshutz model number is, or were they only sold as the CIL 190?

Edit: Brain fart, the cadet rifles looked like the 190

Is that the 64 action?

180, 190, 310, 315, 320 and perhaps a few others under the same CIL label all have the same action. Top dollar for a 190 with target sights is probably $450.

I also have a CIL Model 310. In excellent condition I paid $265 CDN 2 years ago. It has the 64 action and a fully adjustable trigger. This is more than accurate enough for my needs and really likes the Federal Bulk ammo that Walmart used to sell. What kind of money is the seller asking?

$275 sounds like a decent price, without having seen pics of it. I bought my tack driver Anschutz/CIL 190 complete with Anschutz target sights and scope bases for $450. Everything is relative, I guess...

I believe the CIL 310 is equivalent to the Anshultz 1416. I have the CIL 180, 190, and 310. All are highly accurate guns. The 310, being a repeater is my favorite hunting .22. In very close second are my Brno's. But I'd love to have a Anshultz 1710 (match 54 action) some day.
