I have been debating selling my beloved High Standard Victor for awhile but I am trying to figure out what a used one in very good +, conditon worth on the used marke these days? I have 3 original mags for it plus a spare set of target grips. Currently I have a red dot scope mounted on it since I mainly shot Bowling pin and stake matches with it. I am not listing it for sale as yet but want to find out what the going market is for them since I have not seen many come up for sale in Canada.

Thanks :canadaFlag::wave::canadaFlag:

I'm not an expert, but if its in nice shape, I'd ask at least $600 for it with the mags. Maybe even more. I love those guns. I had a Citation that I bought used with one mag and paid around $475.00 for it. The Victor has nicer sights, and mags are worth something.

Yeah, I've changed my mind, I think he should sell it to me for $400.00

HEHEHE....;)

They say a picture is worth a thousand words so here is a picture of it. This might help come up with a better estimate of what it's all worth.

The piece on the end is a compensator I designed and built for it. It really works well.

What year was it manufactured? Is it a High Standard High Standard or one of the later ones made by the companys that purchased the tooling after they closed up? The early ones are worth more but their all good guns for the most part. 600 may be a little high, but not much with the extra swag...
why sell it?

Not sure the year of mfg.. How would I tell that? On the other side of the barrel it says," High Standard Mfg. Corp. Hamden Conn. USA". The serial number starts with ML*****. The site rip is the aluminum one. I have one barrel weight for it also. The only mods I have done to it is drill and tap a couple holes in the sight rip to mount the scope base to and milled a flat on the bottom of the barrel at the front so the compensator mount, which uses the exisitng tapped holes use for the barrel weight, sits flush.

Reason I'm thinking of selling it? Don't shoot handguns anymore and rather see it being used then sitting in my safe. It's probably my favourite gun so selling it would be hard but if the money was right I would. House bills and all. ;)

Sounds like an original high standard, the milled flat and drilled holes will drop value...

Hi ,if you want to know the age of this, send me the serial number and I can tell you when it was made, Looks like a nice gun, I have collected and dealt
Hi Standands for anout 25 or 30 years,
They the only 22 hg I shot, thou at moment I am using a Hammerli and got to like it. feels completly different.
Colloctors HATE holes that are not factory- shooters usally aren't that fussy. I have a scope mount for one of these that doesn't need holes drilled,
your gun will be between75 to81 wouldneed the next # to get the year.
original box will add value.
Afew yeaars ago the would go for 400-450, and they shoot up to about
750, US market, but last couple years the us collector matket is down,
two of the larger colloctors have sold out/ died. Good later one as yours is is still been used in matches.
P.M. me Marshall in Sask.

If you could leave the information public, I'd be interested. Heck, could you give me time of manufacture for my 107 military? It was my grandfathers, and he had the heavy barrel drilled and tapped for a scope :( but boy could he shoot it.....memories every time I get her out!
