Average condition, got wear on blueing and scuffs on stock. Have original box, also in avg condition. It's a pretty accurate rifle for a pump takedown .22

Anyway, what's it worth?

Hello,

Definitely need to see some photos and need the serial number to determine the production date.
Is the rifle chambered for a single size cartridge or is it a standard rifle chambered for short, long and long rifle?
I will be glad to help you and I would love to add the rifle into my research survey. I have cataloged just over
2700 rifles so far. You can read about some of it here:

Hello Gatehouse,

What is the serial number of the gun? The age does come into play to determine the possible value.
I assume the rifle is chambered for short, long, and long rifle? What is marked on the left side of the
barrel near the rear sight?

Michael

Gatehouse,

Your rifle was manufactured during 1959. It was one of the 15,241 made that year.
As such it should have a grooved top receiver for mounting a scope and a black
composite butt plate. Based on what I can see see in the photos I would estimate
the potential value at $700 tops.

Yup, correct. I even have a little scope and rings that came in the box. Thanks.

Have submitted my Winchester 61 data to twobitrifles for his survey. Encourage other Gun Nutz who own these fine rifles to do the same. These are a rifle built the old way when precision machining and fitting was still the norm. Wonder how much new ones would cost if built that way today?
