Whats an FN49 worth?

An opportunity has presented itself, In the form of an FN 49, The stock has been slightly sporterised. All the metal is where it should be. And it chambered in 7mm mauser.

Sorry I dont have pictures, And understand that you can give me and accurate estimate. But iam only hoping for a ball park

Almost impossible to say without seeing pics, check bore condition, gas system, #'s matching or no, etc. Anywhere from $400 for beat to $950 excellent, considering sported wood. Just my small change however.

Numbers match, Bore is good, and metal is in overall good shape, I'v fired it a few times. The stock is original just somone carved a picture into the butt of the gun. Its also missing the front band.

$400 would be plenty (IMO) for the gun as described
