What's Considered Good Accuracy

So, I have a Beeman 1041 that I bought from Canadian Tire a couple years ago and I pulled it out and I was popping off pellets in my garage. I'm getting 3/4" groups with wadcutters at about 10 feet.

I'm thinking this accuracy sucks and something must be wrong with the gun but I'm not quite sure.

Good accuracy from the higher end stuff means putting 10 pellets into a group around 0.2" at 10 meters....

From yours, I would expect to at least be able to do under a half inch, from a rest....

All I've ever worried about is whether my RWS 54 .22 stays within "minute of pigeon" at 100 yards. It will put any brand or weight of pellet inside an inch at 50 yards, though I'm not much for punching paper with it.

Some of the really high end guns, ie the match grade guns will do more on the order of 0.04-0.06 " at 10 meters.

Yeah, when I re-read that after your quote I realized I missed a 0 in there.

My GF has a couple Annie's that from a rest the only way you know you even hit the target after the first shot is hearing it hit the backing plate.

I have seen a Steyr LG100 FT rifle put 5 pellets through the very same hole at 50 yards - that is superb accuracy.
My own FWB 300S, that I modified for use in FT, will keep 5 shots within a 3/4" circle at 50 yards - excellent accuracy - making mini-sniping at empty 9mm shell casings at 50 yards entirely possible.
