Marlin 336ss with 3-9 redfield. Got my buck 3 weeks ago on the run.The quick handling made it possible. When time starts to run out my tikka T3 varmint in 6.5 55 with a nightforce 3.5-15 and berger vlds comes into play.

.270 WSM with a 130 g accubond passed through the chest of a nice 4 x 4 white tail buck yesterday. He did not get far. Sure put a big smile on the 17 year old hunter who took the shot. A couple of weeks ago, the same fellow dropped another white tail with one shot (same rifle and bullet) from about 250 yards away. He has several one-shot kills with muleys in previous seasons.
His Dad hopes that such good shooting is genetic......and that he inherits it from his son!
