I'm relatively new to shooting sports and i would love to know what kinds of tools/gear or various other items that people usually bring with them to either the range or the bush when going shooting. So - What's in your bag?
Whats in your gun kit/ shooting bag

I use a range box from centerthegroup. com.
Top shelf, shooting glasses, sweat band, timer, sight zero book, pens, machanical pencils with spare leads, lens pen and a cloth to clean my glasses. Spare handstop, and molded ear plugs.
Main compartment, sight box, score book, elbow pad, shooting glove, metric allen wrenches, weather writer, folding ear muffs, 1 MTM 50 box of ammo.
If I am going to a major competition there is a tool box in the truck with just about everything and then some for gun repair.
If I am going out skeet shooting for the day, shooting vest, glasses, hearing protection, shooting gloves. About the only tool I take is a pocket knife.

I generally take all this out with a new firearm or when I'm doing range work/ zeroing. If it's just out to hunt or shoot clays I pretty much bring the same as what Maynard does. A knife and a gun sock.

- Range membership card, LTATT and registration papers
- eye protection
- bandana/rag
- candy/nutrition bars
- stapler and staples
- hearing muffs
- gloves (cold weather)
- first-aid kit inc. tourniquet, surgical gloves, bandages, aspirin, eye drops, q-tips etc
- tool kit inc. screwdriver with bits for my guns, punches, multi-tool, lighter, batteries, broken shell extractor, bore-sighter, loc-tite, extra ear plugs, hex wrenches, gun oil, pen/marker
- ram-rod for possible squib loads (in rifle and pistol case)
