Agreed. 25 Pounder H.E. box that held 4 shells. Loaded and unloaded a lot of these from a duece-and-a-half during the late 1950s and fired enough to make it interesting.
The 25 Pounder was classified as a Gun/Howitzer" and used semi-fixed ammunition. You loaded the shell, the #2 man rammed it up into contact with the rifling, and then the case was loaded. You had a choice of 3 different charges for ordinary firing and a "super charge" for use against Armor. The charges were bags attached with string like pearls, and you cut or broke off any that you did not need and threw them aside before loading and firing.
