Howdy, hivemind. I hope you can help me with this.
My Dad has come into possession of three handguns and they need to go on to a new home, but I'm unsure regarding prices. Let's start here:
1) S&W Model 10-8, heavy barrel, made some time after 1977.
Very nice condition. Not shot much, good tight crane-to-frame relationship. Some slight wear at the muzzle. Prohib, regrettably...
++++++++++++++++++++++++++
2) Ruger Mk. II Target model, c. 1984 production.
Adjustable sights, restricted-length bull barrel, excellent condition. 1 mag, very nice condition for a brand new gun, much less one that's 36 years old...
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
3) Hopkins and Allen .32 XL Double Action
No rust, but lockup is nil. The bolt doesn't reach the cylinder. Is it repairable? Beats me, I'm no expert in the breed, but it wasn't much of a gun new and she ain't any better now...
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++
The two Smiths are the most interesting of the bunch, the poor sad little H&A the least - it'd make a fine paperweight were it legal to keep out on one's desk - but I think the Ruger's a nice piece.
So what would you suggest re: pricing?
Thanks for taking time to look,
Dan
