$600 would be a fair price, $650-700 is not outrageous for a seller's asking price IMO - look at what a new Rem 700 VLS goes for now - $1000-1100! + tax

I think you are about $100 too high, unless it has scope/mounts, or other acc.

I was going to say $550. You never know how the last guy treated the rifle and a 22-250 could have been shot fast and hot and that could be cause for concern in the throat.

I just bought a 700 VLS in 223 in "like new" condition ( not a mark or blemish, clean as a whistle, just like it came out of the box) for $ 500.

IIRC, the heavy barreled BDL hasn't been around since about '94 or so. So for a 15 year old varminter with a round count of ??? ...
