What's the 4 digit number on receiver right side of Norinco M305/M14s?

Hello,

Was checking out a Norinco M305/M14s today and noticed a 4 digit number on the right side of receiver. The number was 2007. Is this the year of manufacture?
The left side of course had the model, caliber, serial number.
