Whats the best deal out there for 7.62x39?

The CZECH surplus 7.62x39 corrosive seems to be a good seller. I have my first case on the way to my door as I type. Marstar, Wolverine, Milarm and I am sure a few others have them instock. They can be had from 140-200 bucks + shipping which is the killer. I paid 40 bucks to have it shipped to my door.

Thats shipped, but they have been out of stock for a while.

People with it instock that I know are, Wolverine, MarStar and MilARM.

Supra,
It really makes a diference where you are..
Wolverine had the best price for locals in manitoba(or people passing through)
Marstar is good for ontario
alberta is a bit of a crap shoot to find someone with it in stock.
You just have to see who is shipping and has stock.

I paid 70 bucks to have my crate shipped from Edmonton only because it was 170 for a crate. Here localy ShootersChoice wants 230 tax in, and AlSimmons wants 299 for a crate + tax and MarStar is well hard to get a hold of. Since UPS lost my pacakge then sent it back to MilArm, they are re-shipping it for free to me door so I don't have to worry about paying shipping, so I get a crate for 170 flat. Sweet!

The Hungarian stuff is corrosive, he's just looking for a sucker.

Last week I bought 300 rounds of non-corrosive Hungarian from districorp for $85.78, and Distri-corp only sells non-corrosive ammo, so he could have the same stuff I just bought, though his price sure is high.
BTW...in case your wondering, the 300rds I bought was the last he had.

Cheers!

If that Hungarian ammo is in little white boxes and might have brown lacquer cases, then it is Very corrosive, and should be treated as such anyway.

Yup MFS is very corrosive, good ammo though, I find it has lots of umpf to it.

When you take your receiver cover off for cleaning take a quick sniff of how it smells...remember this smell as it isn't a clean rifle IMHO as long as it smells like this.

Clean all parts well with boiling water, and a good dry, and oil afterwards and you should be fine. :)

Those are corrosive and go for $50/300rounds at SIR.

When I read your post of how much cheaper the ammo was at S.I.R I was pissed  ...then I pulled out my receit for the ammo, and saw I had forgotten I had also gotten two boxes of Igman soft points on the same order. So I actually paid $54 plus tax for the 300 rds. and the two boxes of soft points were $21.28 plus tx. totally $85.78. :) Phew...I feel better now, plus I saved on the insane shipping charges since distri corp is 10min form my work. Not sure why the guy there assured me he does not sell corrosive, I would have bought it anyway. The SKS comes apart so easily its not a big deal to clean after shooting corrosive.
