Is ALG making the best trigger while keeping it real?

I have dpms triggers that have outlasted my barrel, but now need to change them and need to keep it real to the military style ones - not the geiselles.

any other ones I should look into?

I am not sure if you would consider it military style or not, but I have an Armalite Tactical 2 stage trigger. It is adjustable down to 4.5 lbs (have mine at 4.75 lbs) by adjusting a spring.

Looks like the IUR sale is having lots of folks thinking about building lowers:p. Although they are hard on the pocket book, the Geissle's are hard to beat given there military-use credentials.

I tried a Rock River 2 stage match trigger last weekend and thought it was quite good for the price. Not quite as smooth or as crisp as my SSA-E but much better than most stock triggers and 30% the cost of a Geissle.

best bang for he buck.... spikes battle trigger, plated and polished mil spec parts and a 6.5# smooth pull... under $100

its funny because i have geiselles, kac and a bearing style elfmann trigger but for my buddies looking to upgrade without breaking the bank, i always recommend the spikes.

+1 on the Spike's.

All my ARs have them; including the 2 from Colt Canada

Oh man for single stage you should really try the wilson combat ones! I have 3 of them, i also own 2 timneys 667
Wilson combat triggers are extremely durable, very high quality steel solid construction, and no problems with military primers

also read my sticky! I spent a whole lot of time writing it.

Geissele SSA. I've been using one for a while now. It's an awesome trigger and great for all around use. Its also safety certified by Crane Naval Surface Warfare Center as stated on their site.

I guess what I meant was military-style or original-style geometry. the Geissele won't past muster.
I think the business term used out there is "enhanced" trigger groups.
Like the RRA or the ALG....wish I could run Geissele. I've got one on a DMR.
