Whats the max # of rounds allowed in 22LR rifle

I am thinking of purchasing a 10/22 22LR and would'nt mind getting a 50 shot clip from SIR. I have been told by persons with differing opinions that 50 rounds is not legal. Is it or isn't it?

It is perfectly legal. There are no mag capacity limits on rimfire RIFLES.

For rimfire Rifles the only limit is what you can carry .

Thanks for the info. Now my next question is which 10/22? I am considering the 10/22DSP. I like the stock and don't really need a bull barrel. Too bad it doesn't come in camo!

start with the cheapest one you can get..you'll be replacing everything anyways if you want a reliable shooter.I think all stock rugers are pretty much crap,its all the aftermarket that makes them good
