I had a few no1 over the years all were my dream gun 338 win mag, 30-06 rsi, 7x57, 9.3x62… I miss them but I decided to get rid of them cause I figured out they didn’t fit me all that well. The 30-06 is the one I carried and shot the most games with. The 9.3 got me a moose with a dramatic one shot kill. The 9.3 is at a friend’s house now and I could buy it back but he is asking a lot more than what I sold it for so I’ll leave it with him.
no it wasnt stainless, both were blued
half that price be better
I ended up with one of the ones I always wanted the other day.
Stainless laminate in 375h&h
Looked for a long time, seen one or two over the years for sale, but they were priced out of my range.
Ended up with this one, with a pile of brass and bullets and dies for a real steal.
Put a 1.5-5x20 Leupold on it, and now I am happy.
Would love one in 300h&h but not that many are out there, and most are owned by people that are not selling lol.
I have owned probably about 20 or so, mostly large calibers, but a few smaller calibers as well.
