As long as it's over 26 inches with a fixed stock or over 26 inches folded (if it folds) it's legal. What's the shortest 22lr semi-auto rifle you can buy, with an aftermarket barrel? The Ruger 10/22 is great and has 9 inch and 8 inch aftermarket barrels but has the 10 magazine limit. Are there any other options?
Yeah, I know the law, no need to spam the rules a million times in every post ever, I’m wondering exactly what models to buy.As long as it's over 26 inches with a fixed stock or over 26 inches folded (if it folds) it's legal.
You can't cut a barrel down to suit you... it must come from the factory the appropriate size.
If you know the law then your first post doesn't make much sense. Maybe make a new post asking about what different 22LR models are out there...Yeah, I know the law, no need to spam the rules a million times in every post ever, I’m wondering exactly what models to buy.
Dlask*Buy a 16” 10/22 and put a flask barrel on it, from what I understand long as barrel is over 4.25” and overall length is 26” you’re good to go, you can check out mine on EE
Yeah , but Dlask only has them for Ruger 10/22’sDlask*
Oh my bad, did a bad job reading your post….however you can do tuf-22 receiver or get any 10/22 receiver milled for tuf-22 25 round mags, orrrr get rem 597 adapter blocks and use 30 round 597 mags in any 10/22. Other than that I haven’t seen too many sbr options beside some euro bolt guns.Yeah , but Dlask only has them for Ruger 10/22’s
Yeah but the TUF receiver is so expensive, I was looking into just buying a different rifle all together.Oh my bad, did a bad job reading your post….however you can do tuf-22 receiver or get any 10/22 receiver milled for tuf-22 25 round mags, orrrr get rem 597 adapter blocks and use 30 round 597 mags in any 10/22. If you think a TUF receiver is $$$ wait till you see the prices on Antique revolvers, or the ammo.Yeah but the TUF receiver is so expensive, I was looking into just buying a different rifle all together.
Kind of an irrelevant comparison lol, but noted. If you think a TUF receiver is $$$ wait till you see the prices on Antique revolvers, or the ammo.
