What's the smallest bullet for a 300 Savage

Just wondering what would be the lightest bullet that a hunter would use on deer with a 300 Savage, I was thinking a 130gr Barnes X-bullet at about
2850fps. What do ya think?

what powder and how much? my 300 savage is a 99 with a 24 inch barrel

never having tried a barnes 130 in a 30 cal, how accurate is it?
I'm thinking it has the potential to be more accurate than it's lead cored counterpart.

I think so to, If I could keep groups under a inch and a half that would be perfect, especially if I can get it to go at almost 2900fps
