What's the smallest Cooey single shot?

Drilled and tapped. There are 2 small screws holding each base in place.

The smallest I have come across is the Ace 1. Here is a pic of it next to a model 39.

The bottom one is a 39? Not seen a trigger guard like that before on a Cooey (trigger looks different too), like the stock.

Yes it's a 39 - As for whether the stock and the trigger etc. are correct, I don't know. Here is a close up pic of the barrel markings.

That model 39 Cooey winchester shows the changes that eventualy drove Winchester out of Canada. Plastic trigger guard and cheaper wood stock. If you see some of the old Cooeys from the early years they have really nice walnut stocks.----Cowboy
