What's the trick to remove Hatsan mag tube

I've got a Hatsan optima pump and I want to remove the magazine plug but the mag tube is crimped at the end so it's not as simple as unscrewing the cap. It looks like I need to remove the magazine from the receiver but it's not budging and I don't want to force it, especially If there is something I missed. Anyone have some first hand experience with this?

I've got one of them. Stick a flat screwdriver in the end, push down an inch or so, then twist the screwdriver. Pops right out

Ok so I actually don't want to unscrew the tube from receiver, I'm going to be able to pop the metal disc out from the other end correct?

Correct, you pop the little disc that is in there out and the plug is the piece of plastic that will pull out from the top. Funny I asked the same question as I couldn't figure it out last week either!
