Pretty plain looking, and I would say original Ruger.
Sold my birch stock for $60 I think, no metal except the buttplate. It was brand new.
Don't know if metal butt plate. Sounds like the neighbourhood is around $40-60. Thanks.
MD...Ruger birch stocks never came with metal buttplates. ONLY maple and walnut ones did.
Are you sure it was birch?
How old was it?
Not To Hijack but it's on topic for this thread.
What are the different woods that the DSP stocks were offered in?
I did a build with a Walnut one, sold it, Missed it and am now doing a new build with one that I was sold as Birch.
After stripping it seems that it might actually be white birch and now has change how I'm going to finish it.
