What's this rifle worth?

Thinking of putting it on the EE.

I want to trade it for an M305 or something but before throwing it on the EE I was wondering if any of you could tell me what they go for these days.

Its a Remington Woodsmaster 742 in .30-06, Seen no more than 140rounds, its pretty much mint condition. Its been mounted on the wall ever since, taken out twice in the past 20 years.

I'm just not a hunting rifle kinda guy. Wish I could hunt, but I don't have the means!

I got 400$ for my beat up, worn out 742 in .308 win 10 years ago, I think that it was made in the late 60s or early 70s.

The price is what someone will pay for it. When I read the first post and looked at the pictures, I actually said under my breath, "$400."
Then, the very first reply came from one very familiar with what firearms sell for, and his one word post was, $400!

Looks like a bushnell scope with adjustable objective on it. Nice condition rifle, I'd think between 400 to 500$.......and has a sling.............$450
