Savage Model 16 FCKSS in .270 WSM, less than 125 rounds down the pipe, older leupold Vari-X III 1.5X5 on it, old style with friction mounts. Accustock, accutrigger, muzzle brake you can turn on or off, stainless steel, heavy fluted barrel, bla bla. :)

Thinking of selling it. What is fair?
 
Well a new 16FLHSS in .270 WSM is $629.99 plus tax, but that doesn't have a muzzle brake (which is a bonus to me), and a new VX-3 1.5-5x20 (which is two models newer than the Vari-X) for $579.95 plus tax. A new VX-II 1-4x20 is $280 plus tax.

I guess you can go from there.
 
Split up the rifle and scope. You'll get $700 for the rifle and $400 for the scope. No one in their right mind will give you comparable money for the package.
