I'm not a gouger but really don't know what this stuff is worth as I'm going to put it on the EE.

Norinco M-14 w/ refinished and filled USGI stock, (20/5 + 5 rnd mag), refinished original stock, UTG mount with clone point (has worked well for the ~ 300-500 rounds I've shot)

Also, I've got a case of South African .308 (1260 rnds) + 140 (X2) South African battle packs to boot.

I'm thinkin' a grand or so for the bunch + shipping.

How hard is it to ship ammo?... I could hardly bring it up the stairs to photograph it.

Thanks doods.

I just wrote out a big reply about how that is a low price but what the heck, you would make someone's day if you sold it at that. If you would be happy with $1000 I say it's a good deal for yourself and the buyer.

If it is a 2007 and has not been headspaced, indexing checked and tuned at a hungry clininc then a grand is high. For a grand you can get one shortened with new fron tsight, tweaked and tuned. There are 2-3 right now on the EE. I have owned 2 now and am looking at buying a shortie right now for a grand done up with usgi stock. Not saying someone would not pay a grand for yours but at that price it may sit for a while unless someone is really hot for the ammo as well.

The ammo alone makes it worthwhile.(judging by the going rate Ive seen surplus going for lately)

What you likely paid for the parts

Norc M-14 with chu wood stock $500
USGI fiberglass stock with all metal bits $150
Case of SA $800
SA Battlepacks $100 ea.

1,540 rounds of 7.62x51 at 75cents a cartridge would be $1,150. If you were comfortable selling for 60cents a cartridge or lower, I wouldn't be surprised if you had people offering to drive to your home and pick the ammo up within 24 hours of posting.

Ignoring the ammo, I'm guessing the rifle and other accessories would sell very quickly if priced around $500.

If I was in your shoes, I'd start at $1,800 and drop the price by $100(or $50) increments until it all sells.
