Beautiful gun from a distance, but she has a dark side
The Good:
Function tested this rifle, magazine which is a new replacement one (they lost the original) loads and chambers the rounds perfectly.
Extracts wonderfully sending even unfired shells flying.
The gun has some patches of uneven bluing but is other wise great metal wise.
The Stock has been beautifully refinished with Linseed Oil, looks amazing the pictures don't do it justice!
The Bad:
She is missing her safety. From what I can tell it simply needs a replacement safety switch which I've found online for pretty cheap, but I can't sell this to someone intending on giving it to their kid... PLEASE BE MINDFUL of that if you're interested, this should have a new safety installed before you hunt with it.
The Ugly:
I didn't notice when purchasing this that the stock is cracked. It doesn't effect the function of the gun from what I can tell (I haven't test fired it)
And it's still a very solid gun, no body flex but I'd fill those hairline cracks if only I had time (maybe I'll make time this weekend!)
So that being said, make me a fair offer, this would make a wonderful project or deer gun.
