What's with all the HK on the EE recently?

Hey CGN,

Recently (last month or so) I've noticed a large increase in g36c/k (conversion and real), and umps/USC (conversion and real) on the EE. I watch the EE more than is good for my health, and was curious as to why this is. Is it normal ( I haven't been here more than 1.5 years) ? Or is everyone trying to get rid of HK before possible US HK factory starts making g36/umps and increasing supply? Or does everyone fancy a Tavor?

it is normal, earlier this year was the SA CQB, than the Noveske, follow by the Kriss Vector and recently there was the PWS, it is all just a coincidence don't read too much into it, even the highly thought after Tavors has it's share of sell off, usually 2 to 3 months after a new shipment arrives into Canada and the folks that bought one without ever trying realized it didn't quit matched their expectations.
 
I thought the influx of SA cqb and Kriss vectors were attributed to the whole RCMP reclassification rumors. And was trying to figure out the reason for the HK influx. I am probably reading to far into it, but the security analyst in me is curious.
 
Or perhaps with stores like iRunGuns bringing in stuff allot easier and quicker (and often cheaper), more are making it here, and as said above people are either not 100% happy with them, or trying to make a quick buck by flipping them to people who don't realize how easy they are to get or how much cheaper they buying direct (kind of like all the antique shooters in the last couple years).
 
more importantly it take more than two ads appearing in EE in a month to call it an "increase", when it gets to about 10 than you have got yourself a trend.

No, there have been about 4 ump ads, and about 6-8
g36 ads, albeit a couple were Hera conversions and I see those often.
 
Someone said they got some internal source said HK USA ganna build civilan G36 for 2014 But who knows.
Now it's almost 4th Q and still no info from factory

the source also said the barreal may not be interchangeable with the current G36s
so I won't put too much hope on that
