Whats with all the SIG's for sale?

I think people are finally realizing that SIG's are overpriced and overrated.

I don't know where you're getting your info from.

I got my P226 w/stainless slide for $620.00Cdn. All the guys I know who shoot the Sig platform do rate them right up there. Really, they bet their lives on them. For real, on the 2 way range. Everyday.

Pretty good rating if you ask me. Just sayin'

$1300 shipped as you see it :p

I assume you got yours off the EE, otherwise some dealer is really setting a precedent here, and I want to know which one, and where to line up. ;)

Thanks,
Cal.

If anyone has a 226 x-change kit in 40 cal, PM me... looking to purchase. I love Sigs, I have 2 or them, want 2.5 (with the x-change kit).

you know, normally I would say that price is crazy....

but I just bought a used sig 226 9mm for about $450

the seller must have desperately needed the money, or must be in VERY used condition. either way, good buy!

~3500 rounds factory ammo.... I guess that is not brand new.

The thing is it came with a lot of new mags a .22 kit with several mags, and some competition gear. The price I figure is what it will be after I sell the accessories..... :D

I suspect that due to the generally higher price of Sigs, they are also the first to go when someone needs to buy a new toy or pay the rent.

I love that...........two way range!

I have owned several mfg pistols and my Sig's are the ones that has never given me a FTF or FTE, my G22 and G17 both have. They will eat whatever you feed them never a hickup. The W. Germans are by far my favorite:D

+1 to that. The Sig will eat all ammo you run through it. Never had failure of any kind either. They just work. But for competition... knocking down steal plates with the 9mm doesn't always get the job done. Especially when you have to set the falling targets heavy for the windy area that I live in. In that case I use my 1911 in .45acp. So maybe the people are selling to move away from the smaller calibers.

I sold my Glock and bought a Sig 226 because I did have FTFs with the Glock. I didn't care much for the Glock trigger out of the box. The Sig with the short reset trigger from the factory is amazing! So smooooth!!!

Find a friend that has both. Spend the day shooting both the Glock and Sig side by side, and by the end of the day... you'll want to buy the Sig. I did.

Just Sayin' :nest:
