Both the local shop and several online sites that deal with Henry have been having trouble, it seems, procuring the product - especially the newly released 45/70. Anyone know why? Is it a supply thing or is it a border thing?

You have to remember were second class up here to the US. US will always get 1st crack at any new rifle coming out and Henry putting out a good quality US made 45/70 lever gun will sell quick in the US. Usually around this time of year you might start to see the newer guns come up here, if not your looking at early new year. When the Marlin plant was open and the 1st year they came out with the 336BL it took me till this time of year for them to arrive at Epps. Also Henry sales seem to have boomed south of the border now too because of all the problems with Marlin.
