I haven't fired her yet, I got to get around to that, but for some reason whenever I cycle the action dry, the sear seems to get stuck on the locking lug, I've been doing this, everytime it passes over the sear it clicks, meaning it's denting the locking lug, I have discontinued this practice for now, does it need some parts replacement? for some reason the sear is also not centered in the action if you know what I mean, it's laying off to one side, which does not seem right to me any suggestions?

Have you had the forestock or triggerguard off the action? Could be assembled incorrectly. Most likely a damaged or broken spring. Can you post a picture of the action with the stock removed and I can tell for sure. Another possiblility is you have a No4 sear in a No1 rifle....seen that a few times. Cheers, Ron

Pls Post your pictures....I might have a Lithgow sear & spring....let's try to figure our your problem first.
