I just picked up a new to me Winchester 270 pump with the walnut stock. It's my favourite 22 pump because it's the only one I have. Awesome fun to shoot and accurate as well. Very little info on the Internet. Apparently made between 1963 and 1973. Lots produced tho.

I've got two pump 22s. One is the Winchester Model 61 I inherited from my father, it is the 22 rifle that both I and my older brothers' learned on. the other is a Browning BPR-22 I bought back around 1975, it is the first rifle I ever bought.
It is hard to say which is my favorite. The Model 61 has great sentimental value, but its headspacing is off because it has a soft receiver and has had so many rounds through it, truly tens if not nearly a hundred of thousand of rounds, I'd like to get it repaired if I get the funds. The Browning pump was gotten because I learned on the Winchester pump so I wanted a pump action. I've shot the BPR-22 more.
Rem 572 and trombone are both nice. Rem & Win early pumps handle nice but need mantance ( like us old things ). I had and did not like the Browning BPR, too short a pump cycle.
