Hey all,

Just wondering what powder folks are using for their 7mm Rem Mag. Having just picked up my first rifle chambered in 7mm Rem Mag, I am prepping to begin reloading for it. I've read RL-22 and H4831/H4831sc are favorites of many, but I'd like to hear from those on here who have experience. I should add, I'll be loading 150gr Nosler Partitions and 140gr Barnes TTSX.

Thanks for any and all feedback.

I'm currently using H1000 for Nosler Accubond 150 and 160 grain bullets. It's ok, nothing more. Great velocities, but the accurate nodes are the slower ones.

That being said, I wish I could give H4831SC but could never find a good supply.

61gr of IMR 4350/160 Nosler Accubond/Win or Fed brass and Fed mag primer....................................66gr of N165/140gr Hornady same brass and primers as the load on the left

cool thread- i could only really get RE25 for my loads with 162 eldx.
tried "2213sc" /h4831sc but couldnt get the velocity with the heavier bullets- 162 SST...
then could only get the RE25 an loaded the ELDX 162gr-

Am out of that now but have 500g of H1000 - i believe its a similiar thing as the RE25 , being aussie il try find more of it-

keen to see what keeps getting mentioned here-

IMR 7828 was the original powder for the 7 Rem and made its reputation, way back before it was available to we mere mortals. Between Flintstone powders and the first commonly available chronographs Rem’s 7 almost singlehandedly created the idea that handloaders couldn’t match book speeds.
