My oldest bit is a MkII Martini Henry action converted to 303 in 1908 for an Egyptian contract.
But my oldest complete arm is my 1910 Reming Mod 6 .22lr.
The trigger pull on her is around the 1,000lb mark!

I was given an early1940's 1894 for my 14th birthday by my mom's boss. He bought it off an old Indian from the Eden Valley reserve. The Indian had carved a picture of a mounted Brave on the buttstock(He wasn't a very talented artist) as of right now it's a disputed item in an Inheritence so no pics.

I think my oldest would be a first model straight bolt 7.5 Swiss rifle. I did a little research and IIRC it would have been made around the turn of the century. Sorry no pics right now..

My oldest was a styer made in 1896, if I remember right, but I gave it away a few years ago. Now my oldest is my Enfield made in 1918.

Nope!
It's a .41 cal pistol from the 19th century .
This one was made by William Chance and sons ( I have a shotgun by him as well)
It is called a "screw gun" by some because the barrel screws off and a charge and ball ( NO patch) is placed in the receiver, and the barrel screwed back on.
The cap is placed ( MASSIVE half ####!) and it was hidden in one's vest ( vest pocket pistol) , in
a boot, or a lady could carry it held in her hand muff ( muff pistol) when walking.
I've heard this type of weapon called all these things, so don't know whhich is correct.
When the hammer is cocked back, the trigger drops down.
One shot-card table accuracy!
Mooncoon and I shot this a few years back ( it's been completly gone through by a friend of mine) and it shoots very high at 20 feet due to the grip design.

An old Danish Pinfire Revolver my Danish grandfather had with a dragon and grapevines engraved on the handle. Appears to be around .31 caliber. Judging by the style it must be from somewhere around the mid 1850's.

I also have a Whitney Rolling Block chambered in .44 WCF (.44-40 Winchester). These guns were made from 1881-1888.

My oldest usable is an original Winchester 1886 saddlering carbine in .45-70 mfg in 1892... not much finish left, bore dark, but I had a smith check it out and she's shootable. Madis Winchester book says they only made 5,000 1886 SRC's, so she's a bit of a rare bird these days as SRC's got well used as saddle guns.
